Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny says they proved their title credentials with victory over Liverpool. The Premier League leaders laid down a marker by beating high-flying Liverpool to claim their eight win of the campaign.
"We knew it was a very important game for us. We knew that winning this game would mean a lot and create a gap in the table at the top," said the Poland international.
"If you look at the consistency of our performances recently, you can see we want to challenge for the title this year. You can see with the quality of our performance that we are up for it."
