Sylvain Marveaux has no doubts Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye will be a fans' favourite.

Marveaux feels this could be the start of a long and beautiful relationship between the midfielder and the Toon Army.

Marveaux told the Evening Chronicle: "Yohan will score a lot of goals for Newcastle. I think it is the first of a long series.

"I am very happy to give this goal to Yohan.

"He deserved it because of his great start with the team and it will give him a lot of confidence."
