Sydney FC striker John Aloisi could be on his way to Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua on a loan deal.

The former Socceroo is expected to make a final decision on the move which will be a three-month deal.

Aloisi experienced a difficult season in his first term with the Sky Blues and the opportunity to get away and play good quality football in between seasons may set him up for a much-improved 2009/10 season.
