Sydney still top of Youth League table

Sydney FC's youth team has continued its great form by defeating the Melbourne Victory and remaining undefeated. It was the team's fourth win on the trot and sees them now four points clear of Adelaide United with a game in hand. Kofi Danning scored twice in the second half for the Sky Blues who came from a goal down after Victory defender Steve Pantelidis nodded home in the 24th minute. In other National Youth League matches, the Newcastle Jets recorded their first win, a 4-0 away result at Central Coast with goals from Jesse Pinto, Adrian Karakolevski, James Virgili and Brodie Mooy whilst Adelaide United and the Perth Glory played out a nil-all draw at Hindmarsh Stadium. The Queensland Roar had the bye in Round 5.
