Sydney young gun Brendan Gan is set to make his A-League debut tonight against the Queensland Roar at the Sydney Football Stadium.

The 20-year old has been in superb form for the National Youth League team and he is hoping he can provide the Sky Blues first team with the same amount of drive he does with the youngsters.

“This is why I’m here, I want to play first grade, A-League and (I’m) pretty happy that I got the call up,” said Gan.

“It’s going to be a big game tomorrow and hopefully I can make an impact.”

Gan will come in as a reserve but is expected to be used as a substitute by coach John Kosmina.

Midfielder Terry McFlynn is out of the squad and faces six weeks on the sidelines due to a knee injury.

Bobby Petta will take his place in midfield.

In the Roar camp, veteran midfielder Danny Tiatto will be included to the squad that defeated Perth Glory 4-1 last week.
