Jets owner Con Constantine said the club would happily have Musialik back but also said that Sydney FC rejected a proposal to let him out of his contract and would not try to poach the player.
"A letter went from our club to their club, and they said no, they weren't interested in releasing him," Constantine said yesterday.
"We said thank you very much, we'll see you later.
"If things have changed since then, I can't say one way or the other.
"If Sydney FC were to get in touch with our club and say, 'Are you still interested in Stuart Musialik?' well that would be a different story.
"But for us to approach them again would not be the right process."
