Sydney's Garcia pours cold water on possible Hull return

Richard Garcia has made it clear that he will not be heading back to former club Hull City.

The 32-year old attacking midfielder, who recently signed with Sydney FC, is a fan favourite at the KC Stadium following his spell there between 2007 and 2012 but has no plans to return even though the Tigers are back in the Premier League.

"The fans are always on about me coming back to the club but when I left England, I'd made the decision that I was gone for good," he told au.fourfourtwo.com.

"I wish them all the best. My heart is with Hull. I spent a good five to six years there (including in the Premier League) so for me it was a big chunk of my professional career.

"A lot of good times there. It's a big city and they deserve to have a club in the EPL.

"I honestly do think they'll stay up. Maybe if they can add a couple more players in January. I'm sure they'll stay up. But it'll be a tight league this season."
