Sydney FC striker Mark Bridge has joined Chinese club Tianjin Teda for the Asian Champions League. The 23-year old has signed a short-term deal which will see him on loan for the next four months where he will be eligible to take part in Tianjin's ACL campaign.

Sydney CEO Stefan Kamasz was happy to let Bridge go to gain further experience in the game.

"It's a great opportunity for Mark and we are confident that the experience he will gain over the coming months will benefit not only him, but Sydney FC when we begin our next Hyundai A-League campaign later this year," he said.

Tianjin Teda qualified for the ACL by finishing 4th in the Chinese Super League in 2008.
