Reports suggest that Sydney FC striker John Aloisi is set to join incoming A-League club Melbourne Heart. Sources close to the club suggest that the 34-year old former Australia international will move to Melbourne after the current season and saddle up with the Heart, joining current Sky Blues teammate Clint Bolton at the new Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.

If the rumours are true, it is likely to be Aloisi's last playing contract in the game and his 11th club at professional level.

Aloisi is in Melbourne, preparing for tonight's first leg of the major semi-final against the Victory at Etihad Stadium.
