Sydney FC has accepted the two match ban handed down to goalkeeper Liam Reddy by the independent Match Review Panel (MRP).

Therefore, Reddy will miss Sydney FC's next two Hyundai A-League matches against the Perth Glory at nib Stadium on Saturday 29 January and the Newcastle Jets at EnergyAustralia Stadium on Sunday 6 February.

Ivan Necevski will take charge in goal for Sydney FC with National Youth League keeper Dylan Mitchell elevated into the A-League team for the first time.

The talented 19-year-old has had a strong season with Steve Corica's side, who have surged into second place on the NYL ladder after five consecutive wins.

Mitchell will travel with the A-League team to Perth on Thursday.
