Official release from Sydney FC
Sydney FC has agreed terms with pacey Brazilian full back Fabio Alves Macedo, who will join the club on a two year contract.
The left back is Head Coach Ian Crook's second signing of the week after securing the services of Iraqi international Ali Abbas on Monday.
Fabio impressed during a recent trial and will officially join the club once visa requirements are finalised.
"I am really pleased by the way I have been received by the players and the coaching staff.
"In just a few days, I have seen that they are a very united group and I'm looking forward to working with them.""I am very happy to be signing for Sydney FC," said Fabio. "It's a great opportunity for me and I'm going to repay the belief the coach Ian Crook has shown in me.
The 27-year old arrives after a season playing for Melbourne Victory FC where he was voted third in their Player of the Year Awards.
