Sydney FC's Jurman to join Brisbane Roar

Promising Sydney FC defender Matthew Jurman is reportedly set to join 2010/11 Premier's Plate winners Brisbane Roar.

The 21-year old centre-half has been linked with the Roar and is close to signing a deal with the Roar which will see him link up with this season's best-performed side next term.

Jurman joined the Sky Blues from the youth academy in 2007 and has since made 20 appearances in the first team - his past six being full starts in the heart of Vitezslav Lavicka's defence.

But Wollongong-born Jurman is reported to be close to signing a deal with the Roar, where he will strengthen their defensive stocks, and will leave the Sydney Football Stadium at the completion of the current season.
