Stephan Keller and Scott Jamieson could return to boost the defensive stocks of Sydney FC for tomorrow night's midweek clash with Wellington Phoenix.

Swiss centre-half Keller missed Saturday's 0-0 draw with Melbourne Heart with concussion whilst left wingback Jamieson has been out for the past two matches with tonsillitis.

The pair will be in the squad for the Sydney Football Stadium fixture with the Phoenix which is a boost as the Sky Blues have resurrected their season with just one loss in their past six.

Jamieson admitted that things had not gone to plan for the reigning champions but could feel the season picking up as things progress.

"Our aim at the start was probably to be in the (top) two, but things didn't didn't go our way so we've reshaped it now to make the (top) six and make the finals," Jamieson said.

"The top two, three maybe have pushed away and there's two or three spots available for the teams cramped in there, so we're right in the mix."
