Sydney FC defender Simon Colosimo cannot find a move away this month.

With titlechasers Sydney remaining steadfast they won't release the World Cup hopeful until their finals campaign is over, agent Leo Karis said yesterday that securing a club for his client has become more complicated.

"We're looking everywhere - the Middle East and Asia - but it has become very challenging," Karis told the Daily Telegraph.

"Asian clubs desire to have players now for pre-season, to acclimatise and adjust to a new system."
