Sydney FC chairman Andrew Kemeny will step down from his position when new owners David Traktovenko and Paul Ramsay take over in March.
Kemeny was appointed by current owner Frank Lowy in September 2007 but will step aside once the new owners have control.
A new chairman will be nominated by shareholders which Kemeny thinks is the right way to go about it.
"That is only fair and reasonable since they will control three-quarters of the club as owners," he told the Australian Jewish News.
