Sydney FC boss Corica: Del Piero feeling frustration

Sydney FC striker Alessandro Del Piero is really feeling frustrated at the teams recent form according to head coach Steve Corica.

The Juventus idol has seen the Sky Blues lose their last four matches to plummet to the bottom of the A-League table and after Friday night's 2-1 defeat to Adelaide United, caretaker boss Corica spoke of the Italian's mental struggle.

"He's frustrated we're losing. He hasn't lost for a long time back home in Italy," Corica said of Del Piero.

"We're losing games and it's not nice to lose games. He's frustrated and everybody should be frustrated.

"That's football. When you're down and conceding late goals... it's tough to take. It's just the way it's going at the moment.

"We've got to get on with it and find a win from somewhere."

Since arriving from Turin, Del Piero has scored five of Sydney's 12 goals as the club sits a point behind reigning champions Brisbane Roar with just two wins and six losses form their eight outings.
