Switzerland national team manager Ottmar Hitzfeld is the latest name being linked to the vacant position at Fulham.
Following Roy Hodgson's departure to Liverpool, the Cottagers are now on the hunt for a new manager and Hitzfeld's name has entered the fray.
It is believed Fulham are keen on former England and Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson but there has been a breakdown in discussions as the Swede is holding out for a higher salary and they will now hold talks with Hitzfeld, who has won nine league titles with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Grasshoppers.
Fulham are also being linked with USA boss Bob Bradley.
