Manchester United have confirmed a multi-year global partnership with online financial and trading services provider Swissquote, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Swissquote, already a partner of the championship-winning Mercedes Formula One team, were established in 2000 in Switzerland. They will be United's first commercial partner in the forex category.
"Swissquote are one of the top ten largest forex brokers in the world and are by far the strongest and most reliable competitor in the market," suggested Manchester United group managing director Richard Arnold, as the partnership was announced on Monday.
"The technology and services they offer are superior to anything else available, offering customers the ability to take their finances into their own hands. Much like Manchester United, Swissquote strives for perfection, looking to innovate, influence and enhance the industry it works within by recreating the future of banking."
Swissquote chief executive and co-founder Marc Burki added: "Swissquote Bank immediately identified Manchester United as the perfect match for a partnership. We share the same values - transparency and trust being ones among others - both entities have a great reputation and are very solid which means we are both there for the long run."
