Swindon still confident of 'special' relationship with Celtic despite Mowbray axing

Swindon boss Danny Wilson does not believe Tony Mowbray's departure as Celtic boss will have any significant bearing on transfer relations. Scott Cuthbert signed a permanent deal from Parkhead last summer while Simon Ferry has spent the entire season on loan, and Ben Hutchinson was at the County Ground for the first half of the campaign.

Wilson told the club's official website: "I hope it's not going to be harmful as it wasn't just Tony who we spoke to up there. We've got a good relationship with a few of the other guys up there as well so hopefully it won't have too much of an effect.

"Obviously with Tony leaving that point of contact has gone, but I don't think the relationship will have gone at all."

He continued: "The most important thing from Celtic's point of view is how well we've treated the players down here."
