Swindon Town have snapped up Southampton youngster Jordan Turnbull.

The 20-year-old was expected to join a Sky Bet Championship side on loan but Swindon have managed to bring him back to the County Ground for another season.

Turnbull made over 50 appearances for Swindon last season, his first full season in senior football.

And he went straight into the Swindon line-up for Sunday afternoon's pre-season friendly with Liverpool, a game Town lost 2-1.
