Swindon's Cooper: We couldn't hurt Chelsea

Swindon Town manager Mark Cooper was disappointed his side could not make life difficult for Chelsea on Tuesday night.

The Town lost 2-0 to the Blues at the County Ground in the third round of the Capital One Cup and although Cooper was pleased with the way his side moved the ball around, he was left to rue what might have been from an attacking sense.

"We tried to play. We played decent football without really hurting Chelsea," he told Sky Sports.

"We showed what we are trying to do - play and move the ball quickly but we didn't threaten the goalkeeper enough.

"Full credit to Chelsea. Their attitude was spot on and if they do that it's difficult.

"We'll be better for it. At times we kept the ball off them."
