Tranmere Rovers have confirmed the signing of George Barker from Swindon Town.
The 23-year old striker has joined the League Two outfit on a one-month emergency loan in a bid to increase their goalscoring output which currently sits at just 11 goals from 11 matches.
"I'm pleased to be able to bring George to the club," Rovers boss Rob Edwards told the club's official website.
"With Cole Stockton injured our options in attack have been reduced. George will give us pace up front and will cause opposition defenders problems."
Barker joined Swindon from Brighton & Hove Albion in January this year and has since made 15 appearances for the Robins without scoring a goal.
