League OneSwindon Town are in negotiations to bring back Southampton defender Jack Stephens on loan, chairman Lee Power has confirmed. The 20-year-old spent two months on loan at the County Ground last season, making 10 appearances.
"We have had conversations with Southampton," Power revealed to BBC Wiltshire during a fans' phone-in.
"They are aware we like the lad and I think he really enjoyed his time here."
And Power added: "They've got a new manager and he's going to want to have a first look and see if he wants to be part of the squad.
"But that's the type of player we'd like to have back."
