Swedish teen Benjamin Mbunga Kimpioka is trialling with Sunderland this week.

The 15 year-old hails from Sirius IK and UNT says he touched down on Wearside yesterday to kickoff trials with Sunderland's academy.

Mbunga Kimpioka will spend four days at Sunderland's Academy of Light.

"He is the first player from Sirius since the academy started in 2010 we have received such a request for.

"And if you look historically, he is probably also the first from Sirius ever to have received this kind of inquiry," Sirius Academy director Olle Andersson said.
