Young Swedish centre-back Johan Hammar has joined Everton on a permanent contract. The 17 year old moved to England last year with a view to signing for the Merseysiders, but was ineligible to sign a contract with David Moyes' side until his 17th birthday earlier this week.
Hammar, formerly of Malmo FF, is looking forward to finally getting his Toffees career under way.
"It feels really fun," Hammar told Wagnsson Sports & Entertainment.
"When I moved to England last summer, I knew it would happen, but it was not signed until now.
"I am truly happy to play for a Premier League club."
