Stefan Ishizaki has left LA Galaxy by mutual consent.
The 33-year old Swede signed for Galaxy from IF Elfsborg in January 2014, and made 50 appearances for the MLS champions, scoring six goals.
Galaxy head coach Bruce Arena confirmed the news on the club's official website on the weekend.
"We want to thank Stefan for a year and a half of unwavering dedication, effort and professionalism as a member of this club," Arena said in a statement provided by the team.
"Stefan is a talented player and a good person. We wish him and his family the best of luck."
Ishizaki cited family reasons as the main motive for his departure.
