Reports in Sweden suggest that Christian Wilhelmsson has signed with LA Galaxy.
According to fotbollskanalen.se, the 32-year old Swedish international midfielder has penned a six-month deal with the Galaxy with an option of a further three years.
Wilhelmsson, who has been without a club since leaving Saudi Arabain side Al Hilal in August, has been training with the Galaxy and now has been added to the roster for the remainder of the 2012 season.
During his career, Wilhelmsson has played for Mjallby, Stabaek, Anderlecht, Nantes, Bolton, AS Roma, Deportivo La Coruna and Qatari club Al Ahli, and represented Sweden on close to 80 occasions.
