Sweden coach Janne Andersson isn't surprised by the shock rumours linking Andreas Granqvist with Manchester United.
The 33 year-old former Wigan Athletic defender is currently playing for Helsingborgs and interesting United for the January market.
Andersson told Sportbladet: "I never react to rumours. There are many others who are good at this. I have not talked to Gran, we will see what he says on Monday when we meet if there is anything in it. I usually say I relate to what I know and I do not know anything about it.
"Should he play in the superette for years, I think it will affect him because you are affected by the environment you are in. Over time, it's good if you play at a high level, but so far, I think Granqvist has solved this.
"Then I think he, like many of our players, was pretty tired after the World Cup.
"So Granqvist may not have been a hundred percent perfect in all the matches in Helsingborg, he still does very well and is good enough to be out here. Manchester United is obviously also interested."
