WalesOnline says Williams, 29, sees his Liberty Stadium contract run out at the end of next season.
And while it is known the Wales defender is happy at Swansea and head coach Garry Monk has made it clear he wants a new deal offered to the centre-back, there has been no details on what the next step will be for club or Williams.
Napoli are being linked with Williams this week, while he is reported to be keen on hearing from Arsenal.
