Swansea City are wrapping up a deal for Ajax youngster Kees de Boer.

Noordhollands Dagblad says the 17 year-old midfielder has agreed terms with the Liberty Stadium club and will likely slot into the Under-23s side next season.

Young de Boer is a defensive midfielder in the mould of Leon Britton and has been noted for his passing ability, but was told he could leave by Ajax.

Reports say Dutch clubs FC Twente and Utrecht had made offered to the teenager but he has opted to move to south Wales instead.

Paul Clement is keen to bolster Swansea's academy ranks this summer.
