Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers says they won't rush into a deal for NEC Nijmegen midfielder John Goossens.

The Dutchman, 23, is out of contract at the end of the season and had been linked with a move to the Swans.

But Rodgers said: "John's a talent but there's no urgency to get him in. There was no bid."
