Swansea City are sweating on a scan for Jefferson Montero over his hamstring injury.
Ecuador World Cup ace Montero was left close to tears as he hobbled off the Liberty Stadium pitch early on in Swansea's 1-0 win over Aston Villa, clutching his hamstring.
Swans boss Garry Monk said: "It didn't look good but hopefully it is not too serious and we'll only know for sure in the next 24-48 hours.
"He's been a really good player for us and if it is a hamstring injury we would expect to lose him for these games but sometimes it can just be tightness or a twinge. Obviously if it is a rupture it could be for a longer period but we hope that's not the case and we will have to wait for the scan for a proper diagnosis."
