Swansea winger Jefferson Montero admits he's in limbo at Getafe

Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero is in limbo at Getafe.

Montero has revealed that Getafe have told him he does not feature in their plans for the rest of season.

"It's a bit complicated (the current situation), but I also have to highlight some very good things, because I've been injured for a year and a half, the time I was in Swansea City, and I've recovered here, they've helped me," Montero told FOX Sports.

"The situation is a little delicate, it seems that I did not enter into the plans of the coach, he has talked directly with me and on that subject I am very respectful."

He added: "Long ago I had offers from Ecuador and Mexico, but I'm here in Getafe.

"I respect my team. Until last week I had proposals from Emelec and from Liga de Quito, but it does not depend only on me.

"For me, but for other aspects, there are more people who have to give the okay. For me I went (to Emelec), I'm happy to go back to my country, grab the rhythm I want, now I'm free of injuries."
