Swansea will recover from season-first defeat - Rangel

Swansea City's first loss of the new season will not worry the playing group too much according to Angel Rangel.

The Swans were beaten 2-0 by Aston Villa on Saturday to send them down to fifth place on the table but the Spanish defender feels that their confidence will not be dented by the negative result.

"Every time we have lost a game we have reacted," said Rangel ahead of the weekend's clash with Everton at home.

"Last season we had a losing streak of four games and then we were unbeaten for three. Hopefully we can get a good result against Everton.

"Everton are a good side, but our confidence is still high. We're disappointed, but it's still early in the season, we're playing good football and creating chances. I don't think it is going to affect us at all."
