Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has made it vehemently clear that the club will not look to cash in on leading scorer Michu this January.
The Spaniard has scored 10 goals in 15 Premier League appearances since joining from Rayo Vallecano in the summer and Jenkins has no intention of allowing him to depart for any potential winter suitors.
"We'll be looking to strengthen in January, not to weaken our squad," Jenkins told BBC Sport.
"We'll make every attempt to make sure that happens.
"We felt we had him at good value (£2million) and with his goalscoring it's proved to be a good decision. We're very pleased with that one."
