The Mirror is reporting that Swansea City are in pursuit of Reading goalkeeper Alex McCarthy.
The Welsh club are bracing themselves for the summer departure of Michel Vorm who is being linked with a possible move to Liverpool.
McCarthy became the Royals' number one in 2013/14, making 44 appearances in the Championship, but could be sold for around £3million after the Berkshire club failed to gain promotion back to the Premier League.
Dutchman Vorm, who has been with the Swans since 2011, is attracting interest from the Reds with suggestions that manager Brendan Rodgers wants to bring in some competition for current number one Simon Mignolet.
