Swansea City are tracking Ecuador midfielder Renato Ibarra.

The 25 year-old has just signed for Club America in Mexico, having previously played in Europe with Vitesse Arnhem.

Don Balon says Swans will scout Ibarra leading up to the January market.

The midfielder was with Vitesse since 2011, but left as a free agent in June.

Ibarra is an Ecuador teammate of Swans winger Jefferson Montero.
