Feyenoord midfielder Jens Toornstra is being urged to move to the Premier League.

A long-term target for Swansea City, Toornstra had a big influence on Feyenoord's title winning campaign this season.

Former Feyenoord coach Fred Rutten believes it's now time for the 28 year-old to test himself abroad.

"I do not know what he wants, but he has the ability to be in a big league like the Bundesliga or Premier League," said Rutten.

"He's not yet ready to go to the absolute top, but he can certainly play for a team just below the very best."
