Swansea City have made a new bid for Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mark Davies.
The Mirror says Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has slapped in a new £6million offer for Davies as he tries to replace Joe Allen.
After selling Allen to Liverpool for £15m, Laudrup's money-men have backed him with an improvement on a straight-cash £4m bid for Davies that was rejected by the Championship club.
Wanderers rate Davies at £10m, and are likely to also turn down the increased package of £5m guaranteed, plus a possible further £1m.
