Swansea striker Michu back for Napoli

Swansea City striker Michu is ready to return to action for Napoli.

He has made just six appearances in all competitions for the club this season.

"I feel good now and there's not long to go before I can return to the field. I think I'll be ready for next week," he told Marca.

Michu had ankle surgery in 2013, but went under the knife again 11 months later.

"It has been difficult and there's nothing worse for a player than being injured. In my case, it's the second time I have been through this agony, but I try to stay positive. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

"The first operation did not go as planned. In March I returned to playing, but the ankle still hurt and I thought that after the summer it would resolve itself so I could start the season properly.

"I grit my teeth until November, but at that point the pain had become unbearable. I feel better after the second operation and it seems as if the ankle has healed. I can't wait to get back to feeling like a football player."
