Swansea striker Dobbie admits Blackpool return unlikely

Swansea City striker Stephen Dobbie accepts a return to Blackpool next season is unlikely.

The striker, who scored five goals in 19 appearances for the Seasiders last season, remains high on Ian Holloway's wish-list but the £500,000 asking price looks to have scuppered the move.

"There was talk of Blackpool wanting me on a permanent move but I didn't hear anything concrete on that," he revealed to the Blackpool Gazette.

"I'm just focused on returning to Swansea for pre-season training."

Having experienced the thrill of the play-offs at Blackpool, I want to do the same at Swansea next season.

"It won't be easy but Blackpool's success proved that you don't need a massive budget to move into the Premier League. And I think we are capable of replicating that success."
