Swansea City striker Leon Britton is in line for a rare achievement in English football.
If Britton features in Swansea's opening game against Manchester City on Monday, he will have played in all four divisions.
He said: "It was a culture shock, leaving West Ham to join Swansea as a youngster, but this all proves I made the right decision.
"I didn't know where Swansea was, but I wanted to play football rather than twiddling my thumbs in the reserves.
"It will be strange playing at the same level as the likes of Jermain Defoe, Glen Johnson, Rio and Frank.
"I don't think they will even remember me."
