Swansea skipper Williams keen for clear-the-air talks with Arsenal's Ramsey

Swansea City defender Ashley Williams is eager for clear-the-air talks with Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey after taking over the Wales captaincy.

Williams has been appointed Wales captain for the upcoming World Cup games against Scotland and Croatia, meaning Arsenal midfielder Ramsey will hand over the armband today.

Williams said: "It was a surprise but the gaffer felt he wanted to change it.

"I haven't spoken to Aaron yet but I'll speak to him at the camp. We get on well so I'm sure it will be fine."
