Swansea City are closing in on Spanish striker Fernando Llorente, according to Sevilla director of football Monchi.
The Swans are eager to land a new striker as soon as possible having lost Bafetimbi Gomis, Eder and Alberto Paloschi already this summer.
Swansea are eager to finalise a £5million deal for former Juventus and Athletic Bilbao forward Llorente and according to Monchi, things are moving along nicely.
"It has come a long way with Swansea to reach an agreement," he said.
"We expect to hear in the coming days."
As soon as the Llorente deal is done, Swansea will sell Andre Ayew to West Ham United for £20m having signed him for free from Marseille only last summer.
