Swansea City have sent Kyle Bartley on loan to Birmingham City.
The 22-year old centre-back will spend the 2013/14 season at St Andrew's as he looks to get back to full fitness and playing time following an injury-plagued two seasons.
Bartley was behind Chico Flores and Ashley Williams at the Liberty Stadium and is now further down the Swans pecking order following the arrival of Jordi Amat from Espanyol.
