Swansea City have completed the loan signing of Marvin Emnes from Middlesbrough.

The 25-year old Dutch striker, who spent time on loan at the Liberty Stadium in 2010, has joined the Welsh club on loan for the rest of the season.

Emnes told Dutch football magazine Voetbal International that Swansea has an option to buy in the summer.

"After the season Swansea has an option to buy," Emnes said.Middlesbrough and Swansea came to an agreement.

"It's good for me. Now it's up to me to show it in the Premier League."
