Swansea say they are not after West Ham’s Green

Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers says the club is not trying to lure Robert Green from West Ham United.

Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers says the club is not trying to lure Robert Green from West Ham United.

The promoted Welsh club are believed to be in the market for another goalkeeper despite the signing of Jose Moreira from Benfica with the likes of Green, Fulham’s David Stockdale and Nottingham Forest’s Lee Camp in the mix.

But Rodgers says that Swansea are not in the hunt for the Hammers’ number one.

"We haven't spoken to Robert," he told Sky Sports News. "He's obviously a fantastic keeper but he wasn't one that we've spoken about."
