Swansea's Taylor expecting to be the player he was prior to broken leg

Neil Taylor suggests he will quickly get back to his best as he continues his recovery from a badly broken leg.

The Swansea City left-back missed the majority of last season because of the injury but is getting fitter and closing in on returning as a first team regular after making six starts so far this campaign.

"This season's been good for me so far because I've got back into the swing of things," Taylor told the South Wales Evening Post.

"As for getting back to the player I was before, I think I'll get there probably quicker than expected.

"I expected to play my first football this season, not the end of last season so I'm happy with how everything's going. I feel like I'm getting fitter all the time."
