Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has revealed that Chelsea enquired about his availability in the summer.
The Danish tactician has impressed during his time with the Swans and his work in south Wales did not go unnoticed by the Blues before they re-hired Jose Mourinho.
"Someone (at Chelsea) tried to know my availability through intermediaries, but there was nothing concrete," he told A Bola.
"Also, I had given my word that I would be in Swansea."
