Swansea's Dobbie makes Blackpool return

Swansea City forward Stephen Dobbie has joined Blackpool on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 29-year old, who was a key player for the Swans as they achieved promotion last term, has made just eight appearances in the Premier League and will drop back down to England's second tier.

Dobbie had a spell with the Seasiders back in 2010 and manager Ian Holloway is thrilled to have him back at Bloomfield Road.

"I am absolutely delighted to welcome Stephen back to the club," Holloway told the club's official website.

"I have tried to sign him a number of times since his successful loan in 2010 and he will give us a massive boost for the run in.

"He had a number of other options and I am delighted he chose us.

"I would also like to thank Brendan Rodgers and Swansea for allowing him to come and I am like our supporters, I can't wait to see him pull on the Tangerine shirt again."
